This 3DAY safari visits you to the wilderness park that captivates with its seemingly and less plains, grazing animals and gorgeous birds. It’s also a Uganda destination tour for bird watching expeditions with birds like black breasted barbet, Egyptian vulture, verreaux’s eagle, ostriches among others. You will also have an opportunity to view amazing creatures like cheetahs, elephants, bat-eared fox, aard wolf, caracle during the game drives or walks.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Depart to Kidepo Valley National Park. (Evening game drive)
As early as 05:00 hours, you will be met by the company guide to start your long day drive to kidepo valley national park to be able to manage time.
Driving will continue to the north eastern part of Uganda through the Karamojong region in the district of Kaabong. You will have an en-route Breakfast and lunch in towns like Gulu or Kitgum.
After the lunch stopover, shall proceed and arriving in the evening connecting to your accommodation facility for check-in then after go for the game drive, there after come back for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning Game drive and cultural encounter.
An early morning breakfast, then after head to the park for the game drive searching for the cheetahs, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, elephants, leopards, hyenas and among others on the lucky day expect to see the above animals not forgetting the birds like ostriches.
Return for lunch and relaxation at the lodge as you wait to go for the evening activity after lunch and and short relaxation shall prepare to have a cultural encounter where you will get a chance to meet the Karamajong people at Kapedo and Karema, the kraal’s – grinding stones, African crafts and other experiences then later back to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: Drive back to Kampala or your place of accommodation.
Early morning breakfast, then shall meet the driver for yet another long drive back to Kampala or to preferred accommodation with en-route stopovers for stretching and lunch.
Arriving late night only left with memories about the trip.
